Broadly shares a behind-the-scenes clip from "Across the Line," a virtual reality documentary that uses video and audio recordings from antiabortion-rights protests at U.S. clinics to show viewers what many women experience when trying to access abortion care. The clip introduces several artists involved in making the film. In order to help craft the virtual reality experience, these artists worked with women who had obtained abortion care. Filmmaker Brad Lichtenstein notes, "I don't know that people really understand what it feels like to have people telling you what to do with your body." Raegan McDonald-Mosley, Planned Parenthood CMO, adds, "That immersive experience will allow people to see what it's actually like for these women."

In the clip, Dawn Laguens, executive vice president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, says, "We see virtual reality as an amazing opportunity to actually put someone in someone else's shoes ... and to show what people go through when they try to access health care at some health centers in this country." She notes, "I don't think you can divorce violent things that happen from the violent, hateful rhetoric ... that is its fuel. Once [people] see it, once they experience it, they are going to say, 'This is wrong.' Women, men, young people, they should not face this abuse and harassment outside of health centers, and I think this is a game-changer" (Daden, Broadly, 3/30).
